Terms & Conditions – Ladakh Excursion

By booking with Ladakh Excursion, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming any tour or travel service.

1. Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed only after receiving the required advance payment.
• The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the tour unless agreed otherwise.
• Prices are subject to availability and may change without prior notice due to seasonal demand or government regulations.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

• All cancellations must be made in writing via email or official communication channels.
• Refunds will be processed according to the company’s Cancellation Policy.
• Certain services such as permits, hotel bookings, transport, and entry fees are non-refundable.

3. Tour Itinerary & Modifications

• Ladakh Excursion reserves the right to modify or alter the itinerary due to weather conditions, roadblocks, landslides, political situations, or any unforeseen circumstances.
• Any changes will be communicated promptly to the travelers.

4. Travel Documents & Permits

• Travelers must carry valid government-issued ID proof at all times.
• Inner Line Permits (ILP) are mandatory for certain areas in Ladakh and will be arranged as per the package or customer request.
• The company is not responsible for delays or issues caused due to incomplete documentation.

5. Health & High-Altitude Responsibility

• Ladakh is a high-altitude destination, and travelers must ensure they are physically fit for the journey.
• Any pre-existing medical condition must be disclosed before booking.
• The company is not responsible for health issues such as Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) or related complications.
• Travelers are advised to carry personal medications and consult a doctor before travel.

6. Vehicle Usage & Travel Guidelines

• Vehicles will be provided as per the agreed itinerary and route.
• Any additional usage beyond the itinerary will be charged extra.
• Due to terrain and safety concerns, night travel or route changes may be restricted.
• The driver’s decision in matters of safety and route will be final.

7. Responsibility & Liability

• Ladakh Excursion is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by natural calamities, weather conditions, road closures, or third-party services.
• The company is not liable for any loss, theft, injury, or damage during the trip.
• Personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the traveler.

8. Accommodation & Services

• Hotels, camps, and homestays are subject to availability. Similar alternatives may be provided if required.
• Standard check-in and check-out times will be followed.
• Any additional services not included in the package will be charged separately.

9. Code of Conduct

• Travelers must respect local culture, traditions, and environmental guidelines.
• Littering, illegal activities, or misconduct will not be tolerated and may lead to termination of services without refund.

10. Force Majeure

• The company shall not be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

11. Acceptance of Terms

• By confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all the above terms and conditions.
